FL Building Code Advanced '04: Plumbing / Fuel Gas [V.06]

Architect Training Course

All building professionals in the state of Florida should be familiar with the detailed construction specifications discussed in the Florida Building Code. It is essential that these requirements be kept current and up to date to ensure building projects are safe, secure, and sound when complete. This 1-hour online course supports the plumbing and fuel gas requirements of the 2004 Florida Building Code. It is not intended to provide basic code training, but rather to highlight the important differences from the 2001 Florida Building Code, Plumbing and 2001 Florida Building Code, Fuel Gas to the 2004 Florida Building Code, Plumbing and the 2004 Florida Building Code, Fuel Gas (along with related sections in the 2004 Florida Building Code, Residential), including the 2005 and 2006 Supplements. The 2004 Florida Building Code, Plumbing is based on the International Building Code, which represents a significant change in the Florida Building Code.

After completing this course, you will know the primary differences between the 2001 Florida Building Code, (Plumbing and Fuel Gas) and the 2004 Florida Building Code, (Plumbing and Fuel Gas) including:

  • general regulations (materials, pipe protection, structural safety, inspections)
  • water supply and distribution
  • sanitary and storm drainage
  • venting regulations
  • fuel gas combustion and ventilation
  • swimming pool requirements
  • residential plumbing specifications

This course includes a multiple-choice test after each section to gauge your understanding of the material.
